Postgraduate Studies

Hi everyone,

When I entered university I had too many illusions with graduate studies, however, nowadays I don't have enough money or the desire to continue studying in my current career.
But if I had the opportunity to study what I like being a chef in the future. I would actually prefer get out this country, to some country in Europe like France or Italy, where gastronomic culture is more developed.
Due the characteristics of the job, I would obviously prefer to study in the kitchen full time and also learn the technique in a practical way.
Anyway this is a very optimistic idea, since I must first finish my current career, then study gastronomy then have graduate studies.

Although dreaming is free.

My future Job

Hi Everyone,

I would like to work as a chef, even though I am about to finish my biochemistry degree. About three years ago I found the taste to cook and I still maintain it. I would like to work indoors specifically in a restaurant, but with the possibility of traveling around the world knowing different gastronomic cultures.
Due to the characteristics of my job, I find it impossible to work on an office wearing elegant clothes instead of wearing my chef's apron.
I don't know what I want to do in the future really if working on my career or pursuing my vocation for cooking, maybe I could combine them somehow

How green are you?

Hi everyone,
I learned and learn to this day to take care of the environment through many ways, but always starting from my home through simple actions such as recycling "TetraPak" boxes or glass bottles. Currently many pages or social networks invite to do friendly practices.
I use a bike every time I can, however, I have to travel long distances to transport, I don't use it as much I would like.
I don't really do a lot of things to lower my carbon footprint, beyond recycling or not use very much plastic, maybe I should change.
In Santiago I think that its very difficult to change the thinking of normal people and the government. But the new generations must make a major change before its too late.

A person I would like to meet

Hi everyone

Today I will talk about one person I would like to meet, he is Charles Aránguiz, the professional football player. He born in Puente Alto, just like me. He was part of the golden generation of the national team, winning two American Cups being a fundamental piece in both. But for me the most important tournament we won was the Sudamerican Cup for the "Club Universidad de Chile", because since I was little I am a fan of this team, and this tournament is the only one we have won in history of the club.

Anyway the most important thing about my admiration for Charles Aránguiz is his humility and never forget its principles, until this days he continues helping the people of his village, as he did the last month donating medical supplies to the community health center.
